How It Started
Born in the small rooms, now filling the house
Red State Comedy started with a simple observation: the funniest people in America weren't getting the Hollywood spotlight. These comics were funny — but maybe they weren't part of the in-crowd or didn't have the right politics, They didn't fit the approved template, so they built their own.
So we started this project for the comics who've been grinding in small rooms across the country — and for the fans who've been showing up for them. The heartland has always had a sense of humor. We're just here to amplify it.
No agenda. No apologies. Just comedy that actually lands.
